How is it that every time I go to the fabric store for some one else I buy goodies for myself lol??  I went to go buy fabric for the tote I was making for the HUBS' mom and bought this fabric too.  I think my mom's affinity for teal/turquoise has passed on to me, because I didn't even hesitate with this fabric.  Plus it is floral (eep!).  Anyways, after lots of drafting and draping I went with a cross halter + circle skirt.  I just love how classic & southern the dress turned out.  Maybe next year I'll wear it to a derby.
